Listings you submit

Everything you enter on the listing form except the hidden spam trap is published on your listing once a person approves it: the stand's name, the street address if you give one, the ZIP code and the town it maps to, what you sell, and the phone, email and website you enter. Only enter contact details you're happy to have public. The submission is stored on our servers while it waits for review, and a rejected one is deleted.

To take a listing down, use the contact page. Old versions of a listing can survive in our storage backups for a while after removal.

Location

The "Near me" button asks your browser for your location, and the coordinates are used inside your browser to sort the list; they are not sent to us. Searching by ZIP code sends that ZIP to our server to look up its coordinates.

Contact form

Messages from the contact form are emailed to the people who run the site. Your email address is used to reply to you and nothing else.

Server logs and analytics

The server records standard request information (IP address, page, time, referrer and browser user-agent) to keep the site running and diagnose faults. It is not sold or shared.

Google Analytics records aggregate traffic: which pages are read, roughly where visitors are, and when a page is shared. Google's opt-out add-on or any tracker blocker disables it, and the site works the same either way.

Maps and other sites

Map tiles load from OpenStreetMap's servers, which see your IP address like any website does. Map links open Google Maps or Apple Maps, and stand websites are their own sites with their own policies.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and no information is knowingly collected from them.
